The Community Welfare & Development programme is a core area of work for Abundant Life Hope. It responds directly to the organization’s constitutional objective to undertake income-generating and welfare activities that improve the economic wellbeing of members and the community.
Strong community welfare systems and collective development efforts help households cope with challenges, support one another, and build shared progress. This programme focuses on practical activities that strengthen both individual and collective economic wellbeing while fostering unity and mutual support.
Activities are guided by the organization’s values of integrity, unity, empowerment, compassion and excellence, and are designed to contribute to lasting self-reliance rather than temporary relief alone.
